SHERYL ADKINS-GREEN serves as Mary Kay’s chief marketing officer. She leads the company’s global marketing strategy, new product development, advertising, digital marketing, social media and customer insights to drive long-term growth and support the more than 3 million independent beauty consultants. In 2015 and 2014, she received the Brand Innovators “Top 50” Women in Brand Marketing award, and she was also named one of the Most Influential Women in Direct Selling, and recognized on @Forbes Top 50 CMO Influencers list. In November 2013, Adkins-Green received the CMO Officer award from the CMO Club, and in August 2012, she was the first recipient of the Global Marketer award from the Academy of Marketing Science. She was honored to be featured in Valorie Burton’s best-selling book, “Successful Women Think Differently.” Outside of the office, she is a member of the Dallas Museum of Art board of trustees. She is an active supporter of the Mary Kay Foundation and Rainbow Days Inc., a not-for-profit organization serving at-risk children. She is also a regular contributor to the “Beauty That Counts” blog. Adkins-Green earned a B.S. in fashion retailing from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
