As February bids farewell, March marks the beginning of Women’s History Month. During Women’s History Month, the Texas Diversity Council will embark on the Women In Leadership Symposium (WILS) World Tour. Fourteen years ago, the Texas Diversity Council made its debut with the Women In Leadership Symposium in San Antonio. Fast forward to 2018, the conversation around women in the workplace has sparked a movement towards equal opportunities and a worldwide tour to celebrate female accomplishments.
This year’s theme is “Women Blazing Trails.” This event highlights the leading ladies from different backgrounds and industries. We invite women to share their story through panel discussions, Q&As, and networking. The WILS World Tour is helping women fuel the fire to blaze trails.
Houston is the first stop in Texas to kick off the WILS World Tour at the Bayou City Event Center on March 1. The stops to follow are:
- Austin on March 7
- Dallas on March 22
- San Antonio on March 29
- The Woodlands on September 13
- Fort Worth on November 9
