On September 29, 2016 the National Women’s Council will host the 2016 Houston Women’s Conference at the Sheraton Suites Houston – Near the Galleria. This conference offers women a venue to learn from and network with the top female business leaders in the state. An exceptional group of leading women in business will also be recognized for their professional accomplishments. The theme of this year’s conference is “Stepping Out to Lead.”
“The Women’s Conference is an excellent place to showcase the great strides women have made in the business world,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder & Chair of the National Diversity Council. “Highlighting the leading women in Illinois shows women that their aspiration are not unattainable.”
The Top 15 Women in Business award will be presented during the conference Awards luncheon. This award honors deserving female executives in various organizations within the Houston area. These women drive change and inspire others to succeed while contributing to business growth and the strategic direction of the organization.
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to enhance their professional skillsets by discussing topics such as “Transitions and Risk Taking,” “Superwoman: Fact or Myth” and “Cracking the Confidence Code – What Women Need to Know.” These topics were designed to challenge conventional ideology and promote organizational changes incorporating gender diversity.
